Lemonade anyone?

It's Raining Cupcakes did not seem to be a huge hit. We all love cupcakes, however, the story was not our favorite. This book needed more detail! I think Mrs. Brown was right when she said you can't always judge a book by its cover. The great thing is we can have these discussions and we are welcome to say we did or did not like it. Wonderful discussion, girls!

Now, I am very excited to announce the next book club pick. Drum roll please...The Lemonade War by Jacqueline Davies will be our next book! We will meet Monday, November 28 during lunch. The copies we have in the media center will be distributed as soon as possible. When you do receive the book, please remember to return it as soon as you are finished so that next person waiting can read it. In the meantime, check to see if your public library has a copy.
