It's Raining Cupcakes!
It was a close call but after tallying all the votes, It's Raining Cupcakes by Lisa Schroeder will be the next book club book. We will meet Monday, October 17 during lunch. Copies of the book are available in the media center. If you don't get the book right away, we will put you on the waiting list. In the meantime, check to see if you can get it at your public library.
Isabel is stuck in Oregon and might have the chance of a lifetime to compete in a bake-off in New York City! She has to come up with a winning recipe but there are a few problems...her best friend is also entering the contest and her mom doesn't exactly agree with her choice of recipe. What will she do? Join us and read this sweet treat to find out!
On an end note, I really enjoyed seeing everyone for the first book club. We had a great discussion about 11 Birthdays and I am looking forward to many more! I think most of us enjoyed that book so if you want to see what happens next, there is a sequal called Finally by Wendy Mass.
